Sunday Morning Worship Service

Existing as First Baptist Church for nearly 150 years, New Life Church seeks to connect the unconnected to Jesus and His Church. Our Sunday Morning Worship Service seeks to maintain a tension between the past and the future. Our music is contemporary but never lacking hymns, our sermons are conversational but never lacking deep bible exposition and our leadership seeks to steer us towards reaching an ever changing world by connecting people to a God who has ever been the same.

FAQS

What time should I arrive?

The Worship Service begins at 10:30am. Arrive early to join us for coffee and refreshments and to connect with others in the Main Street lobby.

Where should I park?

We have ample parking space behind the church building (accessible from Colfax St.). It is easiest to enter through the red awning that reads "welcome." There will be a greeter there with a smile, a bulletin and directions on where to go next.

What should I wear?

Dress in a way that helps you to feel comfortable. You will see everything from jeans and t-shirts to suits on and off the platform.

What is the Service like?

We meet for just over an hour with a usual ending time at 11:45am. We begin with prayer and announcements, then worship through music and by being challenged through the preaching of God's Word. The music is led by our Director of Worship Arts, Gregg Giordano.  The worship is contemporary, but still reflective. Pastor Andrew preaches most Sundays and employs a conversational style. The first Sunday of every month we celebrate communion and the service goes just a few minutes longer. Check out our Sermons >

What do you have for my kids?

Every Sunday morning we have Kids Connection, a time of learning just for kids. This class incorporates children K through 5th grade and is dismissed from the service after our time of music and singing. The children are brought back to the auditorium at the end of the service. Nursery is available throughout the duration of our 10:30 worship service for children 4 years of age and younger.

The church also has a Youth Group for 6th-12th grade students which meets on Sunday Nights. More about our Youth and Kids >

Where is the church?

New Life Church is a group of people, not a building, but we meet every Sunday at 700 Main Street in Toms River >
